Dr. Ovayoza Adeleye received her medical degree and internship from the University College Hospital and the University of Ibadan College of Medicine, Ibadan, Nigeria in 2000. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 2005. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2005.
After finishing her pediatric residency in 2005, Dr. Adeleye became a pediatric medical staff member of Down East Community Hospital in Machias, Maine until 2007. Since 2007, Dr. Adeleye was a member of the pediatric medical staff at Southern Pediatric Clinic/Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, prior to her move to OutPatient Medical Centers, Inc.
A resident of Natchitoches since 2007, Dr. Adeleye is excited to finally be of service to members of her Natchitoches community where she will be offering her expertise in the management of childhood and adolescent diseases. Her special interests are in the management of asthma, obesity and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders.
Outpatient Medical Center, Inc. (OMC) was founded on December 19, 1977. OMC operates three federally-qualified health centers located in Natchitoches, Vernon and Madison Parish. It is their mission to address the health care needs of the communities it serves with high quality services of General, Family and Pediatrics Practice, Dental Care, WIC, KIDMED Screening, Immunizations, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS Primary Care, Family Planning and Counseling. The organization currently serves as a safety-net provider to over 10,000 patients in those three rural parishes.
